Transport Pro TMS users can now use Highway to secure their networks while creating better carrier onboarding experiences.

Transport Pro, a leading cloud-based transportation management software (TMS) provider, and Highway, the creator of a Carrier Identity Engine for the transportation industry, have announced a strategic partnership that aims to give brokerages of all sizes the ability to streamline the carrier onboarding experience, ensure compliance, and secure their networks against fraud.

Transport Pro has long been dedicated to providing cutting-edge technology solutions for fleets, brokers, and 3PLs. When one of its users, Circle Logistics, shared the need for a better carrier onboarding experience and tools for fighting back against freight fraud, the two companies identified Highway as the ideal solution provider and started work to integrate advanced carrier management features into the TMS. Phase I of the integration rolled out to all Transport Pro users in May 2024, and Highway’s Load Lock and SSO features launched in Transport Pro’s TMS in July 2024 as Phase II. All Transport Pro users now have access to Highway’s toolset for carrier onboarding, monitoring, and identity verification.

The integration includes comprehensive features such as carrier lane matching, email and phone fraud detection, and single sign-on (SSO) for digital booking. Once Transport Pro users establish compliance and connection rules in Highway, Transport Pro automatically uses them to onboard and monitor carriers in the TMS. Transport Pro syncs all carrier information, contacts, and lane/equipment preferences, and it automatically downloads all insurance documents and contacts to the TMS. Transport Pro’s Active Capacity mode also uses Highway’s carrier lane search capabilities for profiling carrier lane preferences.
